As most of you know, Edwin's mother has been diagnosed with cancer and
is undergoing treatment. She may have surgery within the next couple of
weeks. I heard from Ed, that the cancer has not spread and it can be
removed and treated. Nevertheless, I know that Edwin and his family have

Two of our members had an idea to help Edwin deal with stress and travel
expenses when going to see his family in Miami. In addition to our good
thoughts and prayers, they suggested that we make a special money
collection among all the LAMA Atlanta membership to help Ed in his travel
